AB 5/6 Writtik Apartment Ground Floor, Deshbandhunagar Baguiati Kolkata – 700059 (“we”, “us” or “our”) is managing and operating the website www.kooqithreads.com (collectively referred to as the “KooqiThreads”), through which it facilitates the sale and purchase of apparels, accessories, handicrafts and any other products under the brand name “KooqiThreads” and other products to the users of the KooqiThreads (“User” or “Users” or “you” or “your”).
 

Our policies and processes for the delivery and shipping of Products purchased on KooqiThreads are outlined in this delivery and shipping policy and the Terms. 
 

We offer our products for shipment and delivery throughout India. Our goal is to give you the greatest possible customer experience, therefore we've partnered with top logistics companies to process your purchase as efficiently as possible and make sure you have a hassle-free experience when getting the product, you ordered from KooqiThreads. We use every commercially reasonable effort to guarantee that you receive the Products on schedule.
 

You accept that the provisions of this Policy will apply to you without modification if you use the KooqiThreads and/or buy a product there. Every time you visit KooqiThreads, we urge you to read and comprehend the conditions of this policy. You should not use, access, or transact on the KooqiThreads if you disagree with the terms stated in this policy. 
 

 

TERMS OF SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

 In order to transport and deliver the product to you, we collaborate with outside logistic service providers. When a product is processed and successfully turned over to the logistic partner by us, we will give you the information of the logistic partner who will handle the shipping and delivery of any product(s) you have purchased on KooqiThreads. Our usual dispatch times are five to seven business days from the day on which you place your order for the product on KooqiThreads. In any event, the user will receive an approximate delivery date for the product they ordered from KooqiThreads. As soon as we confirm an order, we will notify the user of this expected timetable. Additionally, we will send information about your orders to the email address and/or mobile number you registered with us. You acknowledge and agree that even while we use our logistic partners to carry out the product delivery to users, we retain the right to ship and deliver the products ourselves without using any logistic partners or other service providers. 
You agree and understand that though we endeavour to ship and deliver our Products all across India, we may, in our sole discretion determine a selected list of areas which are unserviceable for delivery of Products. We or our Logistic Partners do not provide shipping and delivery services in such unserviceable areas and may not process your orders on the KooqiThreads in such cases.
 

You understand and agree that we may ask for or gather certain information, such as your name, shipping and billing address, location, contact information, etc., in order to ensure prompt delivery of the products you have purchased. You are responsible for making sure that all of the information you provide to us on KooqiThreads is accurate, true, full, and sufficient to pinpoint the precise delivery location. In the event that we are unable to deliver the Products you have ordered because you did not supply accurate, comprehensive, and adequate information when placing the order, you will be held entirely responsible. It is also made clear that in the event that you do not supply accurate and comprehensive information, we will not be held responsible in any way or at any time.
 

 

Within the expected delivery window that we will notify you of, we shall make an effort to deliver the purchased Product to the specified address. Our logistic partners will attempt to deliver the ordered product(s) to you a maximum of three times if you are not home or accessible to receive the delivery.  We retain the right, at our sole discretion, to cancel the order for the purchased Products and handle the return of such Products to us if the third delivery attempt fails and you are still unavailable. In addition, we have the right to withhold our own shipping and delivery costs from any refunds we process after such cancellation.
 

Although we make every effort to ensure that the Products you have purchased are delivered to you promptly and within the time frame that has been communicated to you, you agree and understand that the delivery may be delayed due to:
(a) Uncontrollable logistical problems; (b) inappropriate weather; (c) political unrest, strikes, labour strikes, etc.; (d) natural disasters like floods and earthquakes; and (e) other unforeseen events. We will try our best to notify you in writing via your registered email address and/or mobile number in the event of such a delay. We release KooqiThreads from all liability arising from our inability to advise you of any delays in the delivery of Products you have purchased. Additionally, we won't be responsible for paying you for any claims that might otherwise surface due to a delay in the shipment, delivery, or usage of the products you bought.

 

We work hard to treat agents, workers, and logistic partners with the utmost ethics and integrity; we also strive to act in a way that demonstrates comprehensive professionalism, competence, and good manners. You understand and accept that we are unable to keep an eye on every delivery executive and that we have no control over the decisions or behaviors of delivery personnel. We are just helping to deliver a product that you have purchased, so we won't be held responsible for any actions or inactions on the part of our delivery agents, staff, or personnel, and/or the logistic partner or their staff, agents, or personnel. This includes poor service, incorrect product delivery, length of time it takes to deliver the product, tampered with product packaging, etc.  For the sake of complete clarity, it is stated that any rudeness, incivility, or offensive behaviour displayed by our delivery executives or the staff, agents, or employees of the logistic partners is outside of our control and that you will be responsible for resolving any disputes that may arise between you and our delivery executive or any staff, agents, or employees of the logistic partner. You understand and agree that you will not hold us accountable for any disagreements between you and the delivery staff who are delivering the Products to you, nor will you need us to arbitrate, mediate, or settle them for you. 
 

After you place an order on KooqiThreads, we handle it and give our logistic partner the product you bought. Once the purchased product is transferred to the logistics partner, the user will obtain a unique tracking identity number that will allow them to monitor the progress of the product's delivery. The purchased Product's location and expected time of delivery can be tracked by the User using the tracking identity number on KooqiThreads, the Logistic Partner's website, or their mobile application.
In an effort to guarantee that the Products are delivered to you as soon as possible, our customer care staff works with the logistic partners to update the tracking status of the products you have purchased in real-time. It is made clear that we rely on outside service providers to carry out product deliveries; as a result, we cannot guarantee the precision or correctness of the tracking status, and it could be inconsistent due to delays in updating the data or other uncontrollable technical issues.

 

We maintain the right to occasionally impose or collect shipping costs on Products. The cost of shipping may differ depending on the product's value, kind, delivery location, mode of payment, etc. You acknowledge that we have the right to retrieve the shipping and delivery charges for the delivery service that the logistic partner has supplied on the partner's behalf. If we charge postage for delivering a product you have purchased, we will not reimburse you for those costs in the event that you request a return. However, if a defective, damaged, insufficient, or wrong product has been delivered (for reasons attributable to, and acknowledged by us after due verification in our sole discretion), we may make an exception and repay the shipping costs. You understand and agree that when the purchased products are delivered to you, ownership and risk of all the products you ordered will transfer to you.
 

We work with our reverse logistics partners to make product returns easier. After we receive and duly confirm your request for a return of any product on KooqiThreads, our reverse logistics partners will contact you to arrange for the retrieval of the products you purchased. In compliance with our KooqiThreads Cancellation, Return, and Refund Policy, we handle product exchanges and returns.
