Return and Refund Policy
AB 5/6 Writtik Apartment Ground Floor, Deshbandhunagar Baguiati Kolkata – 700059 (“we”, “us” or “our”) is managing and operating the website www.kooqithreads.com (collectively referred to as the “KooqiThreads”), through which it facilitates the sale and purchase of apparels, accessories, handicrafts and any other products under the brand name “KooqiThreads” and other products to the users of the KooqiThreads (“User” or “Users” or “you” or “your”).
APPLICABILITY OF POLICY
You agree to be bound by the conditions stated in this Policy in its entirety by using the KooqiThreads and/or submitting a request to purchase a product on the KooqiThreads. It is recommended that you refrain from transacting on the KooqiThreads if you disagree with the terms stated in this policy.
Please be aware that we reserve the right to modify the conditions of the Policy that control refunds, returns, and order cancellations for products on the KooqiThreads. Please review the Policy each time you want to use KooqiThreads to make sure you are aware of the terms and conditions that are in effect at that particular moment.
TERMS FOR CANCELLATION, RETURN AND REFUND OF ORDERS
Product Cancellations
(a) If you change your mind about a specific order you placed for the Products, you can cancel the order only if the product has not been shipped yet , otherwise , the order cannot be cancelled. You can do this by sending an email to care@kooqithreads.com requesting us to process the cancellation.
(b) By using the unique tracking identity number you received from us, you can track the progress of the delivery of the Products you purchased.
(c) We will cancel the order and begin the refund procedure for the products within 7–10 (seven to ten) business days after receiving your cancellation request, provided that we receive it before shipping the product. You need to send us your payment details in the same email where you are requesting us to process the cancellation.
Product Returns
The following circumstances may prompt you to request a return of the product: (a) It is damaged;(b) Parts of the product or accessory are missing. Within 7 days of the day the product is delivered to you, you must start the return requests process.
(a) In order to facilitate a successful return pick-up, you must maintain the Products in their unused, original condition together with the original invoice or sale receipt,outer box, MRP tags included and the original components in manufacturer packaging. Subject to the conditions outlined in this Policy, we would approve the request for the return of such a product.
(b) We advise you to file a request on the KooqiThreads email to care@kooqithreads.com as soon as possible if you have received any products that are returnable in accordance with this policy. We reserve the right to independently determine whether the following situations apply: (a) the products' claimed defects, damages, or non-compliances are acceptable to us; or (b) the defects, damages, or non-compliances are the result of our default. Based on the results of this verification, we will either accept or reject the return request. In order to verify this, we might ask you to email us pictures or videos of the broken, flawed, or non-compliant product that you received, or we might arrange for one of our staff members to come out and inspect the product. After evaluating the damage or the issue raised in the return request, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to handle the situation in accordance with the assessment report.In case of damaged product ,you need to send us an unboxing video footage and clear images of the damaged product, after which our team will verify the same and necessary actions will be taken.
(d) Your return will only be handled if all of the requirements that we may specify are met at the time of the return of such products. These requirements include that the product be returned in its original packaging, along with all of its accessories. They also include that there be no damage that has occurred after the product has been delivered while it was in your possession.
(e) You acknowledge that we will not accept returns of any kind for any of the following reasons: (i) you ordered the wrong product model, color, or quantity; (ii) the product falls into a category of non-returnable products (such as personalized products that are not returnable due to their nature); (iii) you neglected to request a return or file a complaint regarding a non-compliant product within the Return Period. Any harm to the product resulting from your careless wearing or storage of it, any alterations made to it by the user or a third party, or any decrease in value for any other reason, will be regarded as a non-compliant product or a quality issue. Any decision we make in this respect will be final and enforceable.
(f) Our reverse logistics partners assist us in facilitating product returns. After we receive and properly recognize your request to return an item through KooqiThreads, our reverse logistics partners may contact you to arrange for the retrieval of the products you have purchased.
Refund
(a) You can obtain a refund for the non-compliant product at the moment you make a return request or cancel your order on KooqiThreads. You will only receive this kind of refund if we have received payment for the product.
(b) Please be aware that if you choose to cancel or return the products, the refund amount for those that qualify under this policy will be processed seven to ten business days after we verify the product's defect or noncompliance. This will happen after we verify and evaluate the products and the related documents.
Only after the requirements specified by us are met—such as the product being returned in its original packaging, the product's original packaging, the brand-new outer packaging of the non-compliant product, and all accessories inside—will your refund be processed. For the avoidance of doubt, it is made clear that we will not issue a refund for any Product that our verification and assessment determine is not entitled for one.
(c) Cash refunds are not offered by us. Depending on your preferred method of payment, you will get an update about your refund in the mail in seven to ten (seven to ten) business days. It occasionally takes longer for banks or other financial intermediaries to handle refund requests. Nevertheless, you can get in touch with us and we'll be happy to assist you if the refund does not occur before the specified period.
(d) The amount paid for shipping or any other fees that may occasionally be incurred will not be included in the refund that will be given to the user. However, we may reimburse the shipping costs if a Product is delivered with a defect or damage (for reasons attributable to and accepted by us after proper verification at its exclusive discretion). If you receive a non-returnable product that is damaged or faulty, you will receive a refund, pending our verification and inspection of the product's damage or defect.
(e) If, upon our inspection following a product's return, it does not meet the quality requirements outlined in this Policy, we have the right to reject a refund request for that product. In some situations, we might let you know and ship the returned item back without starting the refund process, where you need to pay an extra shipping charges for getting the product back.
